The Committee discussed about holding the next Annual General Meeting (AGM) of ARSIPSO. It was decided that the AGM will be held on 26/06/2010 at a venue to be decided later.

Appointment of Shri Pramod Agrawal as auditor to audit annual accounts of ARSIPSO was approved.

Brief discussion was held on the progress made by website of ARSIPSO. Satisfaction was expressed at the fact that it is functioning effectively.

Monthly honorarium for Shri Dleep Mehta, Assistant, ARSIPSO, was increased to Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees five thousand only) w.e.f. 1st April 2010. Any expenses which may be incurred by him for undertaking work of ARSIPSO will be reimbursed to him separately.

The proposals sent by Shri B.S. Das in his letter of May 3rd, 2010 were discussed. It was decided that Shri Prakash Singh’s contribution towards Police Reforms should be recognized at the next AGM by presenting him with a Silver Salver along with a citation.
Comments were invited to Shri Das’s suggestion to institute a running annual award to be presented to an IPS Officer for his written contribution in the form of an idea on any subject including non-police subjects. The discussion on this point remained inconclusive.
Similarly, discussion on his suggestion to bring out a book outlining achievements of outstanding IPS officers remained inconclusive. There were divergent views on the procedures to be followed for this work. However, Shri Sankar Sen, General Secretary, informed that guidance and financial assistance for this work may be available from BPR&D to ARSIPSO and, in turn, ARSIPSO can outsource this work to Centre for Development & Strategic Planning (CDSP) set up by our Patron, Shri B.S. Das, in which ARSIPSO is also represented.
Approval of expenditure of Rs. 16,151/- (Rupees sixteen thousand one hundred fifty-one only) undertaken for holding Shri Shrawan Tandon Memorial Seminar will be put up in the next meeting as in the agenda of the Executive Committee Meeting held on May 8th, 2010, it was erroneously mentioned that this amount was spent on holding Shri A.K. Dave Memorial Seminar.

The meeting ended with a vote of thanks to the chair.
